Don Akkermans was Marketing Manager, editor and Director in companies of Reed Business, Kluwer and Wegener and held different positions at the Dutch Publishers' Association from 1980 to 1995.
Since 1995 he is active as a broker and producer in the communications / publishing industry.
As of 2005 Akkermans is media entrepreneur, specializing in business and special publishing
Since 2011 he is also the Managing Director of Zhomer company EIM.
Akkermans is the author of several books, articles and columns on marketing and media.
